Malaina Poore works as the Executive Assistant for the Virginia Organization of Consumers Asserting Leadership (VOCAL) and is the Project Manager for Firewalkers, a “field guide to radically rethinking mental health” published by VOCAL. Before this, she was a diner waitress, a forklift driver, a mentor, and a pre-school teacher. She is also a student and a mother.
